What we collect
Your name, contact details (email and optional WhatsApp), demographic context (country, city, gender, date of birth), career status, goals, and the answers you provide during the assessment. We do not collect location, browsing history, or anything you don't actively give us.
How we use it
Your data powers your personalized assessment and report. With your explicit consent, we may also send you occasional career-development updates, tools, and offers — never more than a few per month. We never sell your data.
Reflective layers are mirrors — not employment criteria
Career Compass AI includes self-awareness layers like numerology and zodiac. These are framed as mirrors for personal reflection and capped at 5% of your match score. They never determine whether a career is recommended to you, and they will never be used as a hiring or employment filter.
Storage & security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authorized administrators on a need-to-know basis.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted entirely at any time. Just reply to any email from us or contact privacy@careermapai.org.
Marketing consent
We only send marketing emails to users who explicitly opt in on the lead capture form. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe.
Children
Career Compass AI is intended for users aged 16 and older. If you believe we have data about someone younger, contact us and we'll delete it.
